Ashton Marie Cakes was established in 2010 at Fort Hood, Texas. As the spouse of a military service member, I had to endure long separations and deployments. As a means to cope with those separations I found extreme comfort and pleasure in baking for others. As I continued to nurse that passion Ashton Marie Cupcakes was born!!! I wanted to create something of my own that represented my love and passion to serve people. With every cupcake that is made and every cake that is baked I strive to provide my customers with unique products and personalized experience that is unmatched by others!!! At Ashton Marie Cakes, LLC we use all the best products to provide our customers with exceptional service. I enjoy creating cakes that provide lifelong memories. Do I have to pay before booking?
Yes, you are required to pay a nonrefundable/ nontransferable retainer fee to hold your event date. For wedding cakes, the retainer fee is $200.00, and your balance is due two weeks before your event. For all other occasion cakes there is 50% nonrefundable/ None-transferable retainer with the balance being due a week before your event
Do you offer tastings? If so, what is the cost?
Yes, we do offer tastings for our brides and grooms. The tastings are $50.00 for a tasting box and $100.00 for an in person tasting. You will receive four cake flavors along with four filling flavors of your menu choice. Cakes that feed 78 guest and up will have the fee applied to their cake balance. In Person Tastings will have half the fee of $50.00 applied to the balance of the cake.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, delivery is an option. Delivery/ Setup starts at $65.00 and is depended upon your event location. If you chose to pick your cakes or desserts up it will be free of charge. However, we are no longer responsible for your items once you leave our location. If you decide that you will need delivery once you have paid your cake balance, delivery must be paid in advance before your cake or desserts are delivered.
Do you provide wedding cake stands?
No, unfortunately we currently do not rent cake stands to our customers. However, we are working on a rental service for our bridal clients.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, visa and master cards. You may pay your balance through your invoice. One you have agreed to the cake quote given we will send out an invoice for you to pay your retainer/or your balance in whole. We do not accept checks.
Can I come in and taste a few samples?
No, we are a home-based business, and our cakes and desserts are made to order. We do this so that we can offer our customers the freshest products. As stated earlier we do offer cake tastings to our brides and grooms the fee is $50.00.
Do you offer vegan cakes?
Yes, we do offer vegan cakes! We currently offer two flavors vanilla and chocolate. We are working on more flavors for our vegan customers.
